Island Park area business to host holiday fun

A hands-on activity that will bring kids into the kitchen will be hosted in the Island Park area, and it will have a fun and festive holiday theme.

The care at Edible Arrangements in Garden City wants to wish everyone a happy holiday season, and it has a special celebration planned for December. The venue has offered the activity in the past and it has proved to be successful.

Each child who attends the function will be able to dip their own box of strawberries in melted chocolate, and they will then be able to eat their creations or take them home to share. Crafting tables and face painting are also on the schedule, and all the kids will be invited to write a letter to Santa, which will be sent express to the North Pole.
