As March begins, Molloy College will be hosting an evening to celebrate the world's most renown short films. The selections will feature Oscar winners and nominees. Films that won US film festivals and “Best of Show” honorees from international events will be shown as well. The films will be dramas, comedies, and animated shorts.
The event begins with a live performance by Ellen Kaye and the Moscow 57 Band. The film showcase will last for two hours and will be hosted by Donna Drake from the CBS television show ‘Live It Up!’. General admission is $10.
The event will take place in Molloy College's new Madison Theatre, which opened on November 12, 2011. The Theatre's Artistic Director is Angelo Fraboni - an award winning producer of Off Broadway and tour productions. He is also an accomplished Broadway performer. The Theatre seeks to showcase interesting artistic pieces as well as foster the development of aspiring artists, performers, and technicians within the entertainment industry.
It is possible that the organizers for the Madison Theatre will hire Print companies to create Flyers that can spread word of their events in nearby areas like Oceanside, Levittown, or Island Park. They may also want to hire Print companies to create programs for those who are in attendance. Many people are not very familiar with short films, so they may want a record of what they saw that evening in case they want to track down the films later.
The evening will begin at 7:30 pm on Friday, March 1. Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Print
