Casa Larga Vineyard and Winery in Fairport has Sip and Paint classes, Sip and Sushi with Chef Kimberly Roth, and an Ice Wine and Culinary Festival over the next few weeks.
The Ice Wine and Culinary Festival will be held February 15 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm and 2:00 – 5:00 pm. Participants will learn how ice wines are made, and they will taste samples from around New York State.
There will be food served, seminars, and entertainment. They will have chuck roast tacos with wine slaw, mac and cheese with ice wine brisket, red pepper soup, arugula salad, and dessert. Tickets must be purchased to attend.
On February 6, Sip and Paint Love Glasses will be from 6:00 to 8:30 pm. All supplies are covered in the cost, including two glasses, paintbrushes, and an apron. The instructor will help guests with a romantic design and complimentary beverage of wine, beer, or slushie. Cheese plates and snacks available for purchase.
No doubt of interest to art and graphic design enthusiasts will be Sip and Paint Peonies and Lemons on Canvas on February 20 from 6:00 to 8:30 pm. It includes a complimentary beverage, wine glasses, paints, an apron, and canvas.
Sip and Sushi with Chef Kimberly Roth will be held on February 21 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. Students will have sushi appetizers before class and a free beverage. Roth will teach students to make their own sushi rolls and take home a sushi kit.
