Casa Larga Winery in Fairport offers ‘Sip and…’ series classes in the winter. These offer an evening of decorating a wine glass, wine tasting, making terrariums, and learning to make sushi.
All Sip and Paint, Sip and Plant, and Sip and Sushi classes includes materials and a glass of beer or wine. Classes are held on Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons, with aprons included.
On February 7, Sip and Paint a Moon on wine glasses or canvas begins at 6:00 pm, with doors open half an hour before. Participants are provided with aprons, glasses or canvas, paint, and paintbrushes.
Sip and Sushi will be held on February 8 at 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. The evening includes wine or beer, sushi, sushi rolls, and sushi kit. Chef Kimberly Roth will teach the class.
On February 15, Sip and Paint Love Birds Glasses will be held at 6:00 pm. The class includes all materials. Cheese plates and appetizers are available for purchase.
Sip and Paint Headmaster and Gamekeeper Glasses will be held on February 21 at 6:00 pm. All supplies will be included. Fairport has printing services that design Posters and provide flyer printing for wineries like this.
On February 24 at 2:30 to 5:00 pm, a Sip and Plant Kokedama Workshop will be held. In this class, students will make a hanging kokedama (Japanese ornamental plant) to bring home and learn how to care for it.
