Fairport’s newest mall Whitney Town Center in Fairport is filling up fast with great retail outlets. The mall has professional offices, retail space, and medical services. It is 28,500 square feet.
It recently added Sweet Charity, a division of Advent House, which sells used clothing and household items.
Advent House is a nonprofit hospice type home that serves the terminally ill. The location in the mall helps with its fundraising efforts.
Sew Creative has also opened in the plaza. It sells patterns, fabric, thread, sewing machines, and has classes too, having served Fairport since 1975.
Pizza Chef has moved from its central village location. The restaurants offers thin crust pizza, salads, subs, wraps, calzones, and side dishes.
Two other franchises, Love Kickboxing and Zen Nail Spa II, have rented space, and the mall is negotiating a restaurant lease. It is expected to have casual dining, shopping, and outdoor recreation, as well as will have 151 senior apartments with carefree living and access to activities. The apartments have one or two bedrooms, one bathroom, and fully furnished kitchens.
The apartments are pet friendly, have a fitness center, community room, 24-hour emergency maintenance, and crafts room.
