Vineyards to host craft sessions and sushi making

This spring, Casa Larga Vineyards and Winery in Fairport will have wine tasting and craft days for adults, with the Sip and Paint, Sip and Plant, and Sip and Sushi classes proving popular.

All events still intend to go ahead at the time of writing, but checking for updates on the venue’s website would be wise.

On April 2, a Sip and Paint class will design a Home Plate sign for the home. All supplies for the class of paint brushes, materials, paints, and apron are supplied. Classes begins at 6:00 pm and tickets include a first glass of wine, beer, or slushie free of charge. Snacks are available to purchase. Students will create a sign to hang outside their home.

On April 5, from 2:00 to 3:30 pm, guests can design a Lucky Ducky Terrarium with Kathleen Rullo from Jardin Terrariums LLC. All supplies are included to make the terrarium of glass terrarium, plants, and accessories. Free beverages and snacks are available to purchase.

Sip and Sushi will be held with Chef Kimberly Roth on April 17 at 6:00 pm. Before class, students will enjoy a beverage and platter of homemade sushi. Students learn to make sushi rolls and take home a kit to help them make their own, whether with seafood or vegetables.

The same class Sip and Sushi will be held on May 20 at 6:00 pm. Doors open at 5:30 pm before the classes. Printers design Promotional Products to sell at special events for businesses.
