The Fairport Music Festival is scheduled to take place in a month’s time.
The celebration has musical entertainment, kids activities, games, crafts, and food. The festival is located 12 Liftbridge Lane East, and there will be free parking in Village Landing and Packett’s Landing lots.
The Kickoff Music Show on Friday, August 24 will feature the pop rock band JUMBOShrimp, folk music with the Adam Erza Group, and rock music with JunkYardFieldTrip. Entertainment inside will be held at B-Side.
There will be four stages for music at the festival. Each will feature a variety of different types of music, with pop, rock, R&B, country, jazz, folk, and Southern among the offerings.
A one-hour cruise follows on Saturday, August 25 with musical entertainment. Beer and wine gardens will be set up near three of the music stages. A variety of local restaurants will at the festival selling different types of food.
The hours are Friday from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and Saturday from 12:00 noon to 10:00 pm. Admission is $15 for adults and free for children under 10, and they can enjoy activities like face painting, making jewelry, games, bounce houses, juggling, and magic tricks.
Fairport has Print shops that assist with the graphic design of printed materials for restaurants, musical groups, businesses, retail stores, and clubs for marketing and advertising.
