For those to whom stomping grapes sounds like fun, and chance to do so will soon present itself in Fairport, New York at the annual Purple Foot Festival.
The event is one of the largest stomping festivals in the country. The community looks forward to the event celebrating an old world tradition at the Casa Larga Vineyards, which are located in the Finger Lakes Wine region and have been producing fine wines for 35 years.
Vendors frequently make arrangements with local printers to Print needed supplies for events of this type. Banner printing is often required as a banner is placed in the vendor’s booth to depict the name or product of the company.
Pricing for the event is $12 in advance, or $15 at the door, with a reduced price of $10 for members of the Wine Lover Club. Under 21s will be free. Adults will receive a tasting glass along with a gift bag.
The event will be held on September 15 at the Casa Larga Vineyards, located at 2287 Turk Hill Road. The festival will run from 11:00 am through 6:00 pm, and will offer many fun activities for the day.
People are invited to “jump in” and begin stomping grapes at any time during the festival. In addition to the stomping, there will be live music, food, wine tastings, hay rides through the vineyard, a magic show, and a kids’ play area.
