The Parks and Rec in Fairport will run three summer day camps this year. They will be located at Fellow Road Park, Potter Park, and Northside/Dudley. The camps are for children 6-13-year olds.
Registration will be at the Perinton Community Center this year. The number of children will be limited. The day camps run weekly with specific themes and the hours are 9 am – 4 pm.
Children will participate in arts and crafts, games, field trips, outdoor activities, and special events. Kona Ice will visit all three camps each week.
The camp themes from July 6-10 is Minion Madness, July 13-17; Halloween Madness, July 20-24; Wellness Week, July 27-31; Animal Planet, August 3-7; Carnival Week and August 17-21; Science Week. Call the Park and Rec for registration information. Social distancing will be practiced for all day camps.
White Brook Nature Area will have Nature Explorers programs for children ages 6-8-year-old and 9-11. Both programs will have hiking, catching bugs, crafts, and identifying plants and animals. The sessions for 6-8-year olds runs July 27 – 31 and August 3 - 7 from 9 am – 2:30 pm. Nature Explorers for children 9 - 11-year olds will be held on August 10 – 14 from 9 am – 3 pm.
Nature Explores program will be White Brook Nature Center 250 Aldrich Road. Print shops design and provide brochure printing for programs like this. Register online for Nature Explorer programs or call White Brook Nature Area for information.
