New street food offering in Fairport

A new American-Mexican restaurant opened in Fairport in late March, located at 6 N. Main Street.

Lulu Taqueria & Bar brings a menu of Californian street food with a Mexican accent created by chefs Mark Pavone and Anthony Harlow.

Their Menus has tacos, burritos, tostados, sandwiches, and nachos. One specialty is a smoked salmon tostado with avocados, and another is a Caesar salad with green chili dressing.

The menu reflects street food Pavone and Harlow have eaten in California, and unusual dishes are served regularly for patrons. An example is elote, which is creamed corn served on a roll with crema, lime, and hot sauce. Diners can also enjoy a Cali dog wrapped with bacon on a roll topped with guacamole, fried shallots, and greens.

The fried chicken sandwich is topped with tangy coleslaw, jalapenos, and chopped pickles, while the Lulu Plate has asada fries, mac and cheese, and chorizo meat sauce.

Lulu’s side dishes are rice, beans, fries, and avocados, and a full-service bar serves beer, wine, and mixed drinks. Customers can sit at the bar or dine in a causal rustic dining atmosphere with wood tables and chairs.

The restaurant is open for lunch, dinner, and cocktails. Fairport has printing services that help restaurants, bars, fast food restaurants, cafes, and coffee houses with graphic design of promotional and marketing materials for all occasions.
