The 17th annual Fairport Music Festival will be happening in the city next month. All proceeds from the event will be in benefit of the Golisano Children's Hospital.
Each year the family-friendly event features six stages, with two days of musical performances by local area talent. The festival also includes a wide variety of food trucks, and activities for children.
The 2021 Fairport Music Festival Calendar is available for purchase on the event website, at a cost of $10.00 each. The calendar features full color images from previous festivals, and pop-up events. Professional printing services create Calendars and programs for events such as this.
Sponsors are still needed for the event, with packages ranging in price from $50.00 to $10,000.00. Event tickets are provided to all sponsors, and packages may include stage Signs, booths at the event, and corporate features on the event website.
The first music festival was organized by Andy McDermott, and Rob Burch in 2005. Since its inception over $1.7 million has been raised. The donations have been invested in the hospital’s playrooms, nurse’s station and surgical suites. The hospital has also purchased specialized equipment including Giraffe Omnibeds, and a pediatric Anastasia machine.
The 2021 festival will be held on Friday August 27th from 5pm-10pm and Saturday August 28th from 11:30am to 10pm. Tickets are good for both days of the festival, and are available in advance on the event website for $15.00 each, or at the main gates for $20.00 each. The festival will be held at 5 Liftbridge Lane East.
