Merchants Association establishes new brochure

The Fairport Perinton Merchants Association (FPMA) has launched a new catalogue detailing the numerous services, events and travel options the village has to offer.

Established in 1972, the mission of the FPMA is to promote the local businesses in the area, and allow for networking among its members. The organization strives to organize festivals and events that will spark pride in the community, and encourage residents to support local charities by volunteering.

The new brochure begins with a short history of Fairport, before launching into 30 pages of detailed information about group’s members’ businesses and services. Some of the categories and the respective businesses included are:

• Things to do, including AMF Fairview Lanes and the Fairport Public Library
• Restaurants, featuring the Ice Cream Factory and the Royal Café
• Local shopping, highlighting The Corner Bookstore and Lift Bridge Yarns
• Service providers like Alliance Payroll Solutions and Minuteman Press
• Arts and crafts, featuring Created by Us Pottery and Studio East Dance Company

The catalogue is available electronical on the association’s website, but brochure printing may also provide Copies for residents and visitors to the community.

Membership in the FPMA is open to all businesses and service providers in the greater Fairport area. Benefits include participation in its monthly meetings, inclusion in its social media posts, and preferred vendor status between other FPMA members.
