The Geneva Theater Center in Rochester, just a short journey from Fairport, has scheduled its Christmas and 2018 Winter season.
A two-hour production of the Charles Dickens classic ‘A Christmas Carol’ will run from December 22 to 24 in the evenings and early afternoon on the Wilson Stage. The timeless holiday production will run two hours.
The Marvelous Wonderettes: Cap and Gown play December 7 to 24 on the Fielding Stage. The show is a musical that follows the talented girls in 1957 when they graduate from high school, and in 1968 with songs like Rock Around the Clock.
Moving into 2018, The Other Josh Coen will run in the evening and early afternoon in 2018 on the Wilson Stage from January 9 to February 12. It is about an overweight man that never gets a break or finds a partner. His apartment is robbed except for one CD, and he receives a strange letter. This comedy was nominated for six Drama Desk awards.
From January 25 to February 11, theatergoers can see Erma Bombeck’s At Wits End on the Fielding Stage. This comedy captures the frustration and humor of the everyday housewife and runs in the evenings and early afternoons.
