The Holiday Village at Martin Luther King Jr. Park in Rochester, planned by the Bella Events Group, has many exciting activities in December.
Located only about 10 miles from Fairport, the Holiday Village has indoor and outdoor activities. Admission to many activities is free.
The Village will open on December 1 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm with the Lighting of the Liberty Pole. Santa will travel from the Liberty Pole to the Holiday Village for a tree lighting ceremony. There will be ice skating, music, and other activities.
On December 2, Hanukkah will be celebrated. There will be music, crafts and nighttime activities.
Breakfast with Santa will be held on December 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, and 23. Running from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. It includes story time with Santa and a buffet breakfast with pancakes, eggs, muffins, fresh fruit, juices, and hot cocoa. This event has admission.
Free ice skating and skate rental will be available on Fridays 4:00 to 8:00 pm, Saturdays from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Sundays 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Fairport has Print shops that design and provide poster printing for events like this.
Other activities will be cookie decorating, making holiday wreaths, music, dancing, shopping, and food and drink.
The Holiday Village Markets runs Friday, Saturday, and Sundays from December 1 to 23. It is located at Dr. Martin Luther King Park 353 Court Street. Parking is available in Washington Square Garage and Central Parking System.
