The Imagine RIT: Innovation and Creativity Festival is taking place this May.
This free event will be showcasing the latest in the arts, science, technology, and entrepreneurship, and there will be something for people of all ages.
There will be performances from the Brick City Singers, the Ukulele Club, the RIT Swing Dance Club, and Subject Perspective, among others. In addition to this, there are set to be up to 400 hands-on demonstrations, research project exhibits, and presentations. Food and refreshment will also be available for purchase.
Visitors can take part in the Amazing Suit Race in which they rush to put on an oversized suit, can play Social Media Feud, and can try a Similarity Tester. There are specific activities for various ages, and school groups are welcome to visit.
Prior to the event, there has been a poster and T-shirt contest, and the winning designs will be sold at the festival or used as advertising materials.
This annual event could attract visitors from nearby communities such as Fairport. Local poster printing companies may be asked to provide Copies of the award-winning poster.
