Several produce providers in the Fairport area are getting ready to several people through the season.
Fairport Farmers Market opens this weekend will have flowers, herbs, broccoli, peas, vegetable plants, radishes, rhubarb, tomatoes, spinach, and strawberries. It will sell hanging baskets, annuals, honey, eggs, hormone free meats, cosmetics, soap, and baked goods.
The Fairport Farmers Market will be open on Saturdays, May 23 to November 21 from 7:00 am to noon. Social distancing will be practiced. The market is located at 58 South Main Street behind Bank of America.
Chase Farms in Fairport will be opening in June, with fresh strawberries, sugarsnap peas, garlic, and shortcake. In July, the farm carries cherries, raspberries, blueberries, cucumbers, sweet corn, tomatoes, onions, and squash.
The farm is located at 459 Pannel Road, and has a seasonal shortcake and ice cream bar. Call to inquire about hours and the exact opening date.
Lastly, Casa Larga Winery has local delivery and curbside pickup for wine, slushie kits, chocolates, wine glasses, cork removers, and other products.
