The foliage in and around Fairport can be particularly spectacular around fall, and a local activity will offer full views of the beauty from out on the water.
Passengers who climb aboard The Colonial Belle for the short Leaf Peeping Cruise along the Erie Canal will be treated to opportunities to view and take photos of the fall colors. The outing will be suitable for all ages.
During the 45-minute excursion, the passenger can purchase a drink from the full service bar to sip on, and both credit cards and cash will be accepted. There will also be soft drinks as well as bagged snacks, and boarding will begin 15 minutes ahead of the scheduled departure time. Check-in will take place on the dock, and the activity will be coinciding with the Fairport Oktoberfest and the Fairport Scarecrow Festival. Tickets start at $16 for adults, $14 for kids aged 10 and under, and infants and toddlers may participate free of charge.
