The Landing Bar and Grille in Fairport will host ‘The Fools’, a music group from Boston, next week.
For those unfamiliar with the band, The Fools’ first single was ‘She Looks All Right in the Dark’, released way back in 1978. The first hit record, ‘Psycho Chicken’, was first successful in the U.S. and then internationally. A parody of ‘Psycho Killer’ by the Talking Heads, the release put the group on the musical map.
The group was signed to EMI Records and out came the first two albums, ‘Sold Out’ and ‘Heavy Mental’. The group toured with Van Halen and The Knack, which vaulted The Fools to the national stage circuit.
Since then, the band has been on tour with Cheap Trick and Journey throughout Europe. Arguably their most well-known album to date is 1990’s ‘World Dance Party’.
Poster printing is typically used to help with promoting upcoming performances. The full color poster is very effective in attracting interest as people pass by when Posters are mounted on walls. T-shirt and poster printing is usually also required for concerts themselves, as fans look to get their hands on merchandise pertaining to their favorite groups.
