A Fairport celebration planned in honor of Mother's Day will treat mom to a special experience that takes a trip into the past.
The R&GV Railroad Museum celebrates the history of New York state's railway system, and its Mother's Day activities will welcome the public. Everyone from babies to seniors are welcome to enjoy the festivities, and the admission price depends on the individual’s age.
Everyone who attends the function will be able to hop aboard a vintage train for a short ride around the museum grounds, and before they do, they can pick up their tickets from the ticket agent. There will be exhibits featuring a variety of vintage trains and related items, and the gift shop and concession booth will both be open.
