There's a popular saying about going big or going home, and this experience is on the way for those who include a special Fairport activity in their plans for an upcoming May weekend.
Fellows Road Park will soon see a huge assortment of large vehicles rolling in for its Mighty Machines Mania morning. It will provide a sneak peek into how these law enforcement, construction and other equipment operates as well as the people who use them, and all families are welcome, free of charge.
Attendees will be able to view the trucks and other equipment and some will be open for them to explore. They can climb up into the driver's seat, and advance registration is not required. The gathering is being offered thanks to a partnership between Airquip Heating and Air Conditioning and the Town of Perinton, and is scheduled to run for two hours.
Touch a truck and similar activities provide local residents with a fun way to learn about how their home community keeps its residents safe and also how it manages and maintains its infrastructure. Signage for any event can be prepared to order by area Print shops.
Mighty Machine Mania will bring fun on four or more wheels to Fellows Road Park on May 19th from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Additional information can be found on the Town of Perinton website.
