New York's annual Fairport Firecracker 5 Mile Road Run will take place next month at Perinton Park.
The event is one of the oldest races in
the Rochester Area and is managed by YellowJacket Racing; a full service race management company offering promotional services for races of several types. The company provides timing and equipment services, as well as event production management. It has been in business for 16 years and has set-up more than 850 races.
There will be cash prizes awarded by group categories, with the top three male and female winners receiving $100, $75, and $50 for first, second, and third place respectively. There will also be age group awards, starting with 14 years of age and younger and continuing all the way up to 70+.
Banners are frequently used at outdoor race events to provide directional guidance for racers and spectators. A local Print company will often handle banner printing to ensure sturdy vinyl signage with appropriate text and graphics.
The Fairport Firecracker 5 Mile Road Run will take place July 4. Registration will start at 7:00 am with the race beginning at 8:00 am. Awards will be given at 9:15 am.
