Fairport area’s Victor Hills Golf Course has been reserved for a day that will offer fun with friends, and the monies raised will be donated to VFW Post 8495’s Veterans’ building fund.
The tourney will follow a scramble format. Tickets are $100 each and anyone interested can register as a team or individual.
When they arrive at the venue, attendees will be treated to coffee and doughnuts, and a cart and the green fees will also be covered. After their play has been completed, lunch will be served, and beer and free water will be available on course. Several prize draws will take place, and all skill levels are welcome.
Along with the rest of the excitement of the occasion, the function will offer an opportunity to bid on donated Corporate Gifts in a silent auction. A sponsorship program is also in place where, to make it as accessible as possible to local small businesses, fees begin at $100 and go up to $5,000. They all provide ways for the supporter's Logo Design to be in the public’s eye.
This day of golf in support of the VFW will be hosted on August 11. Both player registration and sponsorship package links are included on the VFW website. Check-in will begin an hour ahead of the play's 10:00 am scheduled start time.
