Fairport golfers who care about kids may want to reserve their spot now in an upcoming tournament.
The 7th annual Round for Ricky golf tourney will be taking to the greens at Eagle Vale Golf Club, and it will get started in the early morning. The proceeds from the activity will be donated to Penfield Boys Soccer and also the Ricky Zinter Scholarship, and a special hole-in-one prize will be up for grabs.
The day will begin with a shotgun start, and play will follow a best ball scramble format. Special celebrity guests will be on hand as well. At the end of the activity, players will head to the course’s eatery for dinner as well as a raffle, auction, and presentation of prizes. Lunch, the use of a cart, and range balls will be provided, and raffle and mulligan tickets may be purchased separately. The hole-in-one contest is being sponsored by Hoselton Chevrolet, and the prize will be a brand new car.
