This October, Fairport foodies are welcome to be among the crowd during an event that will see local bakers go head to head in a search for the area’s best donuts.
The planners of the Best Cider Donut in Rochester NY competition noted that it has proven to be so popular, they have had to adjust the format of the event. This year, it will follow a brunch-style format running throughout the late morning and into the afternoon.
The public will be able to enjoy their meal, enjoying the various offerings for themselves. At the end of the brunch, the judges will retire to make their decision, and the public is welcome to watch them as they work. There will be a one-drink minimum to attend this portion of the day, which will be held inside Mullers Cider House. Donuts and fry cakes will be on offer for purchase, and additional activities will be announced close to its scheduled date.
Once the judges have made their decision, the top entries will receive bragging rights as well as specially designed certificates. This sort of customized documents may be crafted by local Stationery printers.
