Fairport families enjoy Easter fun

Families from the Fairport area will be treated to some Easter enjoyment when they take part in a series of egg hunts that will be on offer locally.

The Town of Perinton will be partnering with the Easter Bunny to hide eggs filled with prizes, and the kids will be grouped by age so that everyone has a chance to find some treasures. Parents or guardians are reminded to provide their child with a basket, and advanced registration is mandatory, as only a set number of spaces are available.

The hunts will be set up at the Perinton Community Center (PCC) as well as Center Park West and the Center Park Amphitheatre, and the start time will depend on which one is selected. There is also an accessible egg hunt held indoors, which will be inclusive, allowing kids with disabilities to be part of the fun. It will feature large eggs as well as fewer participants and visual cues. Only the child needs to be registered, and a parent, guardian, or attendant is welcome to participate with them.

Egg hunts are popular activities during the spring season, and communities may choose to host sensory-friendly or adapted versions of these activities. Signage, stickers, and other small Promotional Products to use as prizes can be ordered from a local Print shop.

The hunts are both scheduled for Sunday, April 13. The registration process can be completed on the Town of Perinton website.
