An event that combines country music with BBQ and whiskey will soon be pulling out from the dock at 400 Packetts Landing Fairport, taking passengers for a cruise along Lock 32 before returning to its berth.
As its name suggests, “Smoke on the Water” will be an event planned with area barbecue fans in mind. It will offer an evening of food, music, stories, and fun for adults only.
The passengers will be treated to a whiskey tasting with the libations provided by Iron Smoke. The meal, which will be prepared by Smokin' Hot Chicks , will include BBQ ribs, chicken, salad, sides, and cornbread, and a cookie will be served for dessert. There will be hundreds or options available for purchase at the bar
Along with the food and drinks, the function will include a storytelling session by Tommy Brunette & Greg Hasset, who will also perform live music. Tickets for the three-hour cruise are $74 each.
Companies that host summer activities can partner with local Print shops to provide them with any custom products they need. They can supply everything from Drinkware to personalized Corporate Gifts, and will be able to accommodate most budget constraints.
This evening cruise along Lock 32 will be departing dockside at 6:30 pm on August 15. Everyone who purchases a ticket is asked to arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of this departure time.
