Fairport residents are invited to be among the crowd for a party that will give cabin fever the boot this spring, and everyone is welcome.
Bill Gray’s Regional Iceplex is set to be transformed into a huge indoor playground, and the celebration, which is dubbed “Spring Fling,” will take place on one day only. Four of the rinks will be converted into dry floor play space, and admission covers admission to this area as well as skating and skate rental.
Families taking part will be burning off energy in the bouncy castles, and there will be face painters on hand as well. Dodgeball and an assortment of interactive games will be available, and live music will keep the atmosphere exciting. A sensory-friendly area with muted sound and lights is part of the plans for the day. Tickets for the celebration start at $10 each and go up from there.
