A simple slice of pepperoni pizza is a comfort food to many, and a Fairport area friendly competition will be putting the skills of local pizza chefs to the test.
The Perinton Pizza Poll will give area families the chance to cast their vote when it comes to their favorite slice. This activity has proven quite popular in the past, and several local parlors will be taking part.
Once they have paid their admission, each family will receive their pizza slice samples as well as water, and while all ages are welcome, those ages 3 and under will not be served a piece. Anyone who plans on being part of the fun is asked to register each attendee separately, and the registration fee is $12.00. The function has been scheduled for the Perinton Community Center, and it will be held during the evening.
A friendly culinary competition that is open to the public may help a city’s food service community to shine. Along with bragging rights, a special award that has been custom designed by a local printing services company may be presented to the winner to display proudly in their establishment.
