Fairport dog owners will soon have the opportunity to teach their canine companions to sit, speak, roll over, and much more.
A novice trick training class for dogs and owners will be taking place for five weeks in November and December. As stated on the class’s event page, the activities in the class will mentally stimulate the canine students as well as strengthen the bond between them and their owners.
However, for those who wish to take part in these classes, there are many requirements their dogs must meet. Dogs that attend the class must not have any dog/dog reactivity issues, should test negative for the diseases giardia and coccidia, be free of fleas and ticks, and have a clean feces report. As well, each dog must be up-to-date on all the required vaccines, and a list of all these vaccines must be presented before class. Local printing services can help event organizers communicate important information like this.
The class begins on Thursday, November 4, and continues almost weekly (the only exception being Thanksgiving Day) until December 9 at 1000 Turk Hill Road. The total cost for the class is $160, and this fee must be paid in full a week prior to the first session.
