The Fairport Music Festival is set to host a bevy of music talents ranging from local artists and regional bands. There will be six stages set up for spectators, with up to 30 bands performing.
The event dates back to 2005, when Rob Burch and Andy McDermott were looking to host great music in their community of Fairport. A discussion between two locals led to the creation of this lively two-day event of live music.
While live music is a big draw, the festival also has contributed to the local community. The event has raised money for the Golisano Children’s Hospital. In 2021 it raised $175,826.22. Since its inception it has raised $2,021,827. Printing services can help promote a festival such as this one, highlighting fundraising efforts.
Festivalgoers can also grab a bite to eat at one of the food trucks located in various locations of the festival grounds. Outside food and drink is prohibited. This is a family-friendly event that includes kids’ activities, crafts, and games. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and blankets.
The Fairport Music Festival takes place on August 26 and 27, with the line-up still to be announced. Tickets can be ordered online or are available at the festival for $25. Parking is on site and a shuttle service is also provided.
