Comedy and arts come together as fringe dates confirmed

Rochester will once again host the First Niagara Rochester Fringe Festival when it comes round in six months’ time.

The event has attracted more than 140,000 visitors and participants over the past three years, with visitors from across New York and neighboring states attend. Participants and spectators from local towns and cities such as Fairport, Bohemia, and New York City are expected to attend.

The First Niagara Rochester Fringe Festival has become one of the most successful events of its type in the country. It is a 10-day visual and performing arts festival featuring artists not just from New York, but all over the world. A full range of entertainment is part of the festivities, including comedy, visual arts, theater, music, and dance. Street theater, family entertainment, poetry, and opera are also found throughout the event.

A not-for-profit organization, The Fringe was developed by leading cultural entities in Rochester. George Eastman House and Garth Fagan Dance and were some of the pioneers in creating the event. Today, the event board has grown its membership further still.

Local Print companies are available to assist with resources such as flyer, poster, and banner printing. Every large event uses Banners to serve as signage throughout the venue and at the vendor booths.
