The Perrington Recreation Department in Fairport will offer classes and activities for young people during November and December. Classes are held in Perrington Community Center and Lion’s Den Teen Center in Fairport.
Pint Size Picassos will meet at PCC on Wednesdays, November 18 – December 9 from 10:00 – 10:45 am. Children age two to six will learn to paint with brushes and work on several craft projects.
Making Tracks with the Animal Teacher will meet November 14 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am for children 5-10 at PCC. Kids will hear a story about animals’ tracks, identify them in the sand, and observe the animals that made them.
Cup Cake Creators will be held November 18 from 6:00 – 7:45 pm for children 8-14 years old. Another session will be on December 16. Children will learn to decorate using fondant and piping techniques.
Teen Center Activity Nights will be held on Friday and Saturday nights. Movie Night for ages 12-15 year will be on November 20 from 6:30 – 10:00 pm at the Lion’s Den Teen Center, during which The Avengers: Infinity War will be shown. On December 4 The Avengers: End Game will be the movie.
Christmas Cookies and Cards will be on December 18 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Lion’s Den Teen Center for 11-14 years old. Printer design poster and provide poster printing for classes like this.
Social distancing is practiced for all classes, and registrations should be made at least one week ahead of each class.
