Roc Holiday Village celebrates the holiday season during December with Santa visits, ice skating, crafts, shopping and food. It serves Fairport and the surrounding cities and towns.
At Santa’s Workshop, kids will meet Santa and Mrs. Claus. Free digital photos will be taken, with milk and cookies served.
There will be free ice skating at the outdoor rink for adults and children. Skate rentals and helpers are free. The ice-skating rink will have special events and demonstrations.
The events at the rink are Learning to Skate, Learn to Play Hockey, Learn Broomball (a cross between ice hockey and soccer), a figure skating show, and a curling demo and lesson.
Craft classes will be held in wreath making, cookie decorating, designing holiday centerpieces, and cake decorating. They will celebrate four holidays – Kwanza, Hanukkah, Christmas, and Three Kings Day.
The Mini Maker Market and Holiday Village Collection will have local craftsmen. They will have ornaments, jewelry, necklaces, popcorn, candy, handwarmers, Mugs, toys, and more.
There will be food trucks and pop-up restaurants serving coffee, donuts, pizza, lobster rolls, sandwiches, burgers, tacos, fried chicken, barbecued sandwiches and plates, salad, soft drinks, beer and wine. Printers provide Graphic Design Services for advertising events like this.
The Roc Holiday Village will run on every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from December 6 until the end of the year. It will be located at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Park 353 Court Street.
