An art studio in Fairport will be hosting a pottery painting event to celebrate the end of the summer season. Adults and children of all ages are encouraged to discover their inner artist at this family friendly art class.
The End of Summer Bash will be held at the Created By Us Pottery studio, in the Village of Fairport. Each ticketholder will receive a premade pottery animal to paint at the studio. Takeout pottery kits will also be available for attendees who prefer to paint their pottery animal at home. The event will also include face painting, and sweet treats from The Ice Cream Factory. Attendees are asked to donate old sheets for the animals to rest on, at the Wildlife Educators Coalition.
In addition to events throughout the year, Created By Us Pottery studio hosts private children’s birthday parties, corporate team building events, family holiday gatherings, bridal showers and baby showers. Party packages include a choice of working with pottery, wood crafts or painting on canvas. This family-owned studio may use brochure printing to provide full details of their party services, and studio membership packages to interested consumers.
The End of Summer Bash will be held on Saturday September 4th from 2:00-4:00 PM at the Created By Us Pottery studio, located on 3 Railroad Street. Tickets are available in advance for $25.00 each, or $27.00 each at the door. All pottery animals will be fired at 1800 degrees Fahrenheit in the studio’s kiln, and be available for pickup one week after the event.
