East Northport families that would like to treat mom to a special day out are invited to include a local activity in their Mother’s Day plans, and area businesses may be interested as well.
Hewlynn’s Vendor Marketplace helps to support local small companies by hosting a variety of pop-up functions to the public, and it has planned its first ever Mother's Day Vendor celebration. The organizers of the day explained in the function's listing that booth and table space bookings from additional companies are welcome, and the price will depend upon which one is selected.
Local crafters and other makers that would like to set up shop for the market have been offered an opportunity to reserve a space for their booth or display, and tables are available for rental or purchase by anyone who needs one. The spaces are all approximately eight feet by six feet in size, and there are also spots outside for booking by food truck operators. The fee for these five-hour time slots is $200 each.
