East Northport is the place to be when it comes to summer fun, and an area event will add even more excitement to its seasonal agenda.
The Northport Chamber of Commerce recently announced that the date has been set for its Family Fun Night. Held in mid-July, it will be a high energy experience for those who join in on the three-hour event.
The festivities will be on offer on the community's Main Street. The vendor area will give local small businesses and other companies a chance to shine, and they will be joined by an assortment of eateries with outdoor dining options. Vintage vehicle fans can head to the collectible car show, and a DJ and live entertainment are both in the works. Everyone can try their hand at the games that will be organized.
Community celebrations are often held outdoors, and a banner printing company will be able to supply an assortment of weather resistant decor. It will also be able to supply marketing materials to display during the lead-up to an event, helping to build the buzz.
Tuesday, July 14 will see Northport’s Main Street transformed into a huge outdoor party. Should the weather not be suitable, a rain date of the following Tuesday, July 21, has been set aside. It will run from 6:30 pm until 9:30 pm.
