A big bowl of chili can be a great way to warm up on cold winter day, and a local fundraiser will offer East Northport this experience.
Northport Shipwreck Diner will be the venue for the Northport Chamber of Commerce’s Chili Fundraiser. The dinner will be served in the early evening, and everyone who attends can mix and mingle in a cozy atmosphere.
The guests will be served piping hot chili, and there will be a selection of sides as well. Everyone can enjoy the salad, cornbread, and dessert, and beverages will be available for purchase at the cash bar. Guests can chat and get to know one another, and the excitement of an even split draw and raffle draws will add an extra dash of fun. Tickets are $40 and must be purchased in advance.
One of the tasks often taken on by a chamber of commerce is organizing mixers and other events, and they may seek sponsorships or the donation of Corporate Gifts in kind they can add to a raffle basket or offer as a draw prize.
