East Northport families enjoy frosty fun

The East Northport area is about to be treated to a day filled with frosty fun when it welcomes an annual winter celebration in a few weeks.

Frost Fest will soon be on offer at The Whaling Museum and Education Center of Cold Spring Harbor, with four hours of frozen festivities on the agenda. Anyone interested can reserve their spot by registering in advance.

People who drop by will be invited to prepare some frosty crafts, and they can also try their hand at the equipment in the venue’s Catapult Lab. They can learn about the wildlife that calls the oceans home, as well as those that live in its polar regions, and chilly face painters will also be on hand. Elsa from the Disney film Frozen will be on hand to pose for photos. All of the activities will be covered by the registration price, and tickets will be available both in advance and at the door.

Whether they take place indoors or out, fun activities like this may help to beat the winter doldrums. A poster printing company will be happy to help out with the marketing side of the equation.

Frost Fest will soon be treating families to icy-themed fun on Sunday, February 1. It will kick off at 11:00 am and wrap up at 3:00 pm.
