Pirate-themed tea party preparing to set sail in East Northport

While some may consider a tea party to be a traditional and formal affair, one that will be held in East Northport will be anything but.

The ladies only event will offer tea, sweets and other fun, and will have a nautical theme. It will celebrate the life of the real women buccaneers who used to sail the high seas, and guests are encouraged to wear a hat and their best pirate garb for the occasion.

The ladies who come to the party will be treated to both traditional black and green teas, a well as herbal tisanes and other beverages, and sandwiches, fruit, cookies and scones will all be served. Along with all of this, each of the women will receive her very own personal cake. All women who are age 16 and over are welcome, but as there is seating available for only 22 guests, reservations are a must.

Ticket for this special occasion are $40 each, and all of the profits will be donated to the Beauty Through YOU Foundation. This celebration of the lives of pirate women on the high seas will be held on September 16th. The location for the festivities will be 26 Vernon Valley Road.
