Homebuyers workshop to be offered in East Northport

Buying a new home can be a confusing process, and two area real estate agents have joined forces to offer an East Northport area workshop that can demystify the process for those who take part.

Lourdes Pena and Mario Urrutia will be hosting the two-hour learning opportunity, and they will walk their audience through the process of purchasing a home or other property. They will address the topic from a variety of angles, and give information that can be helpful in making the decision whether or not to buy.

The topics that will be covered during the discussion will start with deciding whether or not purchasing a home is right for a particular person’s situation, and there will then be an overview of the Long Island market and its current prices. After this, there will be consideration payed to special type of property such as foreclosures and short sales, and the session will wrap up with a review of securing financing and the purchase process itself.

The planners of the workshop noted that there is no obligation attached to taking part in the class. Refreshments will be served, and promotional Pens and other marketing items for an event like this can be sourced from a printer in the local area.

This exploration of how to make the homes buying process go as smoothly as possible will be held on July 31 at 6005 Jericho Turnpike in Commack. Everyone who is interested is welcome.
