Food, fun, and fundraising ahead in East Northport

The second annual East Northport area Lieutenant Steve Maget Memorial Fundraiser is in the works, and this year, the theme will be ‘Go Blue for Nico’.

The event, which is held in honor of Nassau County Highway Patrolman Steve Magnet who lost his battle with melanoma, will raise funds to support Nico Vigliotti. He was born with Chromosome 14 Deletion. It will also help other families with a member who has an orphan (rare) disease.

The guests at the function will be able to enjoy an afternoon of music, some of which will be provided by a pipe band. There will also be a cash bar and free buffet, and raffles will be included in the activities for the occasion. Those who purchase their tickets ahead of time will have their name entered into a draw to win a special basket donated by Remax Beyond’s Louise Tudisco.

Donations to the cause from anyone who would like to help but who cannot attend in person will also be most appreciated. A printer can use graphic design to create a variety of Promotional Products, logos, and other items for an event like this.

This opportunity to have fun while helping others has been planned for April 29 at 552 North Country Road in Saint James. Anyone who would like to purchase tickets, find out more information, or make a contribution to the event has been asked to visit the Paving Pathways for Tomorrow website for additional details.
