East Northport to welcome fall in style

The end of summer in the area will be marked with the annual East Northport Festival.

The celebration will see a variety of activities and entertainment in John Walsh Park. There will be food, live music provided by The Crooked Rail, a beer and wine garden, a huge farmers’ market, games, a midway, and televised sports. Along with all of this, local merchants will be offering special discounts and sidewalk sales. A company that produces promotional Drinkware can create special pieces for use in the wine and beer tents that are often set up during community celebrations such as this.

Car buffs will be able to enjoy the classic and modern cars on display during the East Northport Fire Department’s Car Show, and for the kids, a variety of costumed characters will be strolling throughout the crowd and providing entertainment for the children. There will also be magic shows, craft vendors, and various exhibits set up for the festival.

The celebration has been planned for September 9, 10, and 11 in John Walsh Park. There is no charge to attend, and tickets for the midway, which will be family friendly, can be purchased on site, with a special discount being offered for the Friday evening.
