An East Northport experience will allow local foodies to explore cheese offerings from both around the world and close to home as well.
Those who take a seat for this instalment of the Virtual Maker Focus Series will be offered a sneak peek inside Crown Finish Caves, which is located deep underneath the streets of Brooklyn. It is a presentation of Harbor Cheese and Provisions, and the delivery cost is included in the ticket price.
Those who reserve a cheese box will receive samples of five different cheeses, and contactless delivery is available. One the day of the workshop, the registrants will be able to join in using a unique Zoom log in, and the activity will be led by cheesemonger Jessica Affatato. Anyone who would like to order additional cheeses, crackers, or other sides ahead of the event will be able to do so, and free delivery codes for this will be distributed.
It was noted that anyone who would like to participate in the workshop but who does not live on Long Island will need to submit their order no later than one week before its scheduled date. Packaging supplies can be prepared for this sort of function by a printing services company, and it can even be crafted so it includes a unique graphic design.
Harbor Cheese and Provisions will be offering this online activity to East Northport residents on July 31. Tickets are available now at a price of $75 each.
