All of East Northport is set to welcome fall’s arrival, and a special activity is in store for the East Northport area.
The Northport Fire Department will be welcoming one and all for its third annual Oktoberfest celebration, which will be open to all ages. Both general admission and designated drive/children's tickets are available, and as the function has proved to be a sell-out in the past, anyone who would like to attend is advised to secure their passes well ahead of time.
The plans for the afternoon include music and other entertainment and wine and beer will be on tap. Oktoberfest foods will be on offer, and raffles will also take place for an assortment of prizes. Tickets will not be available at the door, and the proceeds from the day will support the fire department and its various activities. The festivities will run for five hours, and anyone who would like to reserve a pass without paying any service fees is asked to email northportoktoberfest@gmail.com.
