The fall season often brings its own fun, and for many East Northport families this will include a visit to an upcoming autumn community fair.
The Northport Fire Department has invited one and all to attend its annual Oktoberfest party, and this will be its second year. All ages can take part, and as its inaugural year was a sell-out, anyone who would like to be in attendance may wish to purchase their ticket promptly.
The plans for the afternoon feature heavy German influences, and there will be wine, beer, and plenty of food available. A raffle is in the works for the day and live music will have everyone’s toes tapping. Products from Harbor Head Brewery, Delvino Vineyard, and Sand City Brewery will be featured, and tickets for the function start at $5 for adults, with kids age six and under being admitted at no cost.
With celebratory events like this gradually returning after a long hiatus, a banner printing company will be able to prepare a huge “welcome back” sign as well as other items for such an occasion, and these will all help to build an even more festive atmosphere.
The FD Fairgrounds on Clipper Drive will welcome one and all for this Oktoberfest party on Saturday, October 2. Its scheduled start time is 12:00 pm.
