When another fall gets underway, East Northport families will be enjoying a special celebration that will be on offer to them not far from home.
A day of activities will be taking place at Cold Springs Harbor Fish Hatchery and Aquarium, and it will introduce young and old alike to the fishy friends and other animals who call it home. Its agenda is filled with activities, and the crowd may find the live animal encounters especially enjoyable.
The venue will be hosting its annual Fall Festival fundraiser, and the whole community is invited to get involved. Those who participate will be able to learn about the wildlife species that call the area home.
This will be joined by fun ranging from a kids’ fishing clinic to games, live music, food and a variety of environmental exhibits. It will be open for six hours, and members are welcome to enter free of charge. For non-members, admission starts at $5 for kids, $7 for adults, and $6 for seniors.

The 2023 Cold Springs Harbor Fish Hatchery Festival is on Saturday, September 30. The rain date will be the following Saturday, October 7.
