A whole 90 years ago, an East Northport area business first opened its doors to the public, and it has been catering to its sweet tooth ever since. This year, its patrons and the general public are invited to celebrate the season with a very special guest, and reservations are now being accepted for the occasion.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be the guests of honor for a luncheon that’s been planned for both the young and the young at heart. Tickets for the celebration start at $30 for adults and $20 for kids who are between the ages of two and twelve. Those who are under two will be admitted at no cost.
Each ticket holder will be invited to enjoy a meal as well and beverages and a dessert, and each child will receive a special goodie bag which will be full of Promotional Products and other small gifts. The kids can spend some time visiting with the man and woman of the hour, and their parents or guardians can snap some photos of the excitement.
This special event will be taking place in the Northport Sweet Shop, which began serving the public back in 1929. There will be seatings at 11:00 am and 1:15 pm, and it will be on offer on December 7. Admission will be on a first come first served basis, but reservations can be made by those who wish to be assured of a seat.
