The East Northport Chamber of Commerce has an agenda for the upcoming months that is full of fun, and one of its signature events is on the way this September.
The community will be bidding the summer months a fond farewell when it hosts its annual East Northport Festival. Several local business and not-for-profit groups have already chosen to get involved, and there will be lots for all ages to see and do.
The plans for the three-day festival includes a donut eating contest, and there are three prizes up for grabs. Cow Harbor Brewing Company has sponsored the craft beer garden, where the public can wet their whistle while they sample the beers on tap. Live music, food vendors, and a craft show are all in the works, and carnival-style rides will also be on offer.
