East Northport area schedules soapmaking session

An East Northport area class will bring the traditional craft of making soap into the modern age.

Alegna Soap representative Angela will be sharing soapmaking secrets with those who register for the upcoming workshop scheduled for Nest on Main in Northport. It will take two hours to complete, and participants are advised to wear clothes they do not mind getting a bit dirty.

Registrants in the workshop will be able to choose their own scent from a range of option. After this, they will pick the color for their soaps. It will then be time for them to don their gloves and goggles for the mixing process, and the liquid will be poured into a mold before personal touches such as botanical sprigs, glitter, and other enhancements are added.

To thank the attendees for signing up, they will be offered a discount at Nest on Main on the day of the event. A flyer printing company can prepare an assortment of marketing items for a session like this, and these can be mailed out, tucked into a shopper’s bag when they make a purchase, or distributed in other ways as.
