East Northport feline fans will find lots to see and do at an event that will put cats center stage.
The Long Island Pet Expo will soon be welcoming all kinds of pet parents, and its TICA (The International Cat Association) cat show will offer exhibits, competition and also learning opportunities for breeders and the general public. A block of rooms has been reserved at the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Islip MacArthur Airport for those who plan to participate.
As well as watching the judging in a variety of classes, attendees will be able to sit in on a seminar that covers topics such as genetics, breeding, and new color additions to TICAs universal color description. A raffle draw for an assortment of Corporate Gifts and other products is on the agenda as well, and all the guests can stop by the photo booth for some candid photos with their favorite feline.
Shows related to cats or any other animal can be both fun and educational. A poster printing company may be tasked with preparing materials to help spread the word to the area and give visual reminders of it taking place.
The TICA Cat Show will be held at Suffolk Community College on March 4 and 5. It is being presented by the Crazy Pants Cat Club.
